I hold a double major in Communication and Political Science, complemented by master’s degrees in Strategic Communication Management and Digital Media and Society. I received my PhD in Communication, focusing on digital transformation and its impact on communication strategies.

My academic work brings together traditional communication theories with emerging perspectives on digital transformation, communicative AI, and smart technologies. Through this multidisciplinary approach, I explore how technological change reshapes communication strategies, city branding, and public narratives in an increasingly digital society.

Over the past years, I have contributed to cultural diplomacy initiatives and international projects that foster cross-border collaboration through strategic communication. My academic journey also includes mentoring students, conducting interdisciplinary research, and examining how digital innovation influences city branding and cultural narratives.

Beyond academia, I am deeply inspired by cities, cultures, and human connections. Whether hiking in the Alps, exploring vibrant global cities, or returning to Istanbul—the city that shaped my worldview—I am constantly reminded of how places, cultures, and communication intertwine. For me, cities are living narratives that connect people, ideas, and identities.
